Hi everyone, so as you all know times are tough and the economy isn't doing so well. Most all industries have been hit hard with financial crisis and I know that this might come as a surprise but this INCLUDES the Fine Art Industry! I wish I could lie to you all and say that sales have been better than ever and that things are all "Hunky-dory", but the reality of it is is that people would rather put food on their table and gas in their car rather than buy a piece of original art....can you believe that???...how dare they! I'm only joking of course and I don't blame people one bit for spending money on the more necessary things in life.

As it always has been in the art industry, most people don't see art as a functional buy or something that is a good investment. They would rather buy a new Sony plasma tv or an ipod touch than a piece of original artwork...ya know...something that's more practical. I'm not saying this to make anyone feel guilty (please don't take this the wrong way), I'm just trying to state that this has been the competition for us artists since the beginning, so just think now with the crippled state the economy is in how us "starving" artists are doing. We need to eat too and with that said, I'm dramatically lowering all of my prices from original art, to commissions and more.

I am now taking 30% OFF for all of my original paintings I have available through my studio, all prints styles I have from photo prints to limited edition canvas prints, commission paintings that people would like to hire me to do, murals, and more. This offer is for a limited time only and will last only until August 31, 2009. So if you had ever once thought about hiring me to do a commission painting or wanted a painting done from a photo, now would be the time to do it.
